A note of introduction first...
Neustria Sanctuary is a literate fantasy RP that was originally based on the wetpaint/wikifoundry server and founded in 2012.
We've migrated to many different hosting medias over the years but have always slowly migrated back to our routes on the internet. As the admins and most others drifted away from wiki rp and inevitably as of June 2021 Wikifoundry is no more, we wanted to still provide a place on the internet for NS.
Neustria was designed in mind for those with a love for creative writing, immersive plots and for a bit of good banter along the way. We also have been greatly fortunate at times to have had members with outstanding artistic abilities which pushed us to do our best to create 100% original content from character images to location concept art. Whether an extreme photo-manipulation or digitally rendered drawing, we wanted to also promote artistic freedom and expression.
As said, we are a fantasy group that is set in a more medieval, magical setting. Think LotR style. We have two distinct factions, Sonera which is ruled by the Hipherial Elves, and Synteresis, the demon world that was once ruled by the Daeloren race. Our world is actually Sonera itself whereas Synteresis is a mirrored demon realm, like Assiah (the material mortal realm) and Gehenna (essentially hell).
Interactions between the two is possible, but limited.
Concerning Deities...
We have six gods in total and five elemental dragons that are deities in their own right. Of the gods we have:
Nasus (God of death and reincarnation),
Erikarn (God of judgement),
Abaet (God of War),
Tartarus (God of fire and destruction),
Nycaelu (Goddess of disease and reanimation) &
Saerys (God of space and time).
Three Soneran and three Syntereian gods respectively.
The five elements are governed by our dragons, we have:
Pyron (the fire dragon),
Ventis (the wind dragon),
Aquous (the water dragon),
Terrisq (the earth dragon) &
Raikiri (the lightning dragon)
Please note: The dragons and gods are NPCs, they are not available as playable characters.
Also since our dragons are sacred, they are a closed species. You may create a dragonkin but not a full dragon.
At one point all the gods banded their powers together to separate the plains of Sonera and Synteresis to avoid a cataclysm some time ago and have since all been enshrined and turned to stone, except for Saerys.
Sonera has since been relatively peaceful and Synteresis has simply endured.
